The documentary "Femmes des casernes" (in French) will make its premiere at the Cinéma Cineplex Odeon in Montréal’s Quartier Latin neighbourhood on March 5 at 6 p.m. as part of “Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma.” The film was shot in Montréal fire stations numbers 30, 41 and 71, and stars two of the city’s firefighters, Mélanie Drainville and Nancy Cloutier.
The documentary delves into the daily lives of female firefighters and as part of International Women’s Day on March 8, it features courageous and resilient women who chose to live their dream and follow their passion, no matter what people thought.
A “blue carpet” will be rolled out for the film’s crew and stars before the March 5 projection. We hope to see you there!
