In order to respond to situations requiring various types of interventions, the SIM has a large fleet of vehicles at its disposal, to go along with specialized equipment.
100 – Executive vehicle
Executive vehicle for managers to travel to intervention sites. This unit can also serve as an advanced mobile command post.
400 - Aerial ladder truck (100 feet)
Lift vehicle with equipment for various interventions including firefighting, floods, first responders' calls and transporting personnel. As well, this vehicle is equipped with a 30 m ladder to reach the roof and upper storeys of a building safely.
400 - Aerial laddder truck (137 feet)
Lift vehicle with equipment for various interventions including firefighting, floods, first responders' calls and transporting personnel. As well, this vehicle is equipped with a 37 m ladder to reach the roof and upper storeys of buildings higher than 100 feet safely.
1400 – Bus
Support vehicle used to transport new teams firefighters during transfers of personnel. It can also be used as a shelter for victims.
1600- Breathable air supply truck
Support vehicle equipped with cylinders and cascades of breathing air for firefighters during operations.
2184 – Tow truck
Vehicle for testing hoses at the fire station.
4000 - Aerial ladder truck with basket
Firefighting unit used to reach the upper storeys of buildings. This unit is also used for transporting personnel and their equipment.
8000 - Service vehicle
Vehicle for transporting equipment, mail and personnel.
9000 - Prevention vehicle
This car is mainly used by prevention officers for commercial and residential inspections.
