The department's organizational structure has two components, which are prevention and intervention. The department's other sectors of activity provide support for these two components.
The fire department has the following sectors of activity:
- Management
- Operations (operations management, operational support)
- Prevention and planning (prevention expertise and development, strategic and operational planning, management of material resources)
- Civil protection
Each of these sectors of activity has its own administrative or professional functions, but they are all interrelated from a coordination and integration perspective with a view to carrying out the department's mission.
