We take calls from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (We do not take calls on holidays). Outside regular office hours, you may leave a message or write to us.
Frequent questions
Sanitary conditions of a dwelling unit (vermin, water infiltration, mould, abnormal accumulation in a dwelling unit, bedbugs, etc.) - contact your borough's urban planning and business services division (direction de l’aménagement urbain et des services aux entreprises - DAUSE) by dialing 311 or 514-872-0311.
Electrical problems
In the case of an abnormal release of heat, smell or smoke, dial 9-1-1 immediately so that firefighters can make sure there is not fire.
If you are the owner of a buidling and that the electrical problem does not pose an iminent danger, it is your responsibility to have a certified electrician rectify the situation.

Elevator problems
The Service de sécurité incendie can respond to buildings having 6 stories or more, in the folowing cases:
The presence and accessibility of keys used to recall elevators on the premises.
The proper functioning of elevator recalls when a fire alarm is triggered.
