In collaboration with the SPVM and Urgences-Santé, firefighters at Fire Station 23, along with their mascot, Chief, would like to invite families in Le Sud-Ouest to a Community Celebration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 29.
The celebration is an opportunity to raise public awareness of emergency services. Urgences-Santé employees and police officers from the SPVM will be on site to talk about their jobs and answer residents’ questions. Auxiliary firefighters, students from the Institut de protection contre les incendies du Québec (IPQ) and students from Collège Montmorency’s fire protection techniques courses will also be in attendance. The day’s activities will include a fire simulator, a virtual stove, a mascot, a race, play fountains, an electric car course and much more!
You can also have your picture taken in the photo booth and get promotional items.
The Satay Brothers restaurant will be on site for a cookout. Residents can enjoy delicious grilled foods for a modest donation. All funds will go to the Famijeunes organization which assists families in the neighbourhood next to Fire Station 23.
We hope you can all come out and join us!
