This year’s theme is “Keeping an Eye on Your Safety,” as the Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal (SIM) brings Montréal agglomeration residents its sixth edition of Montréal Fire Prevention and Emergency Management Month, to be held from September 14 to October 11, 2015.
To get Fire Prevention Month off on the right foot, Montréal agglomeration residents are invited to a huge family event to be held in Angrignon park on Saturday, September 5, from noon to 5 p.m. There will be activities of all kinds for everyone to enjoy. The day will kick off with a parade of vintage fire trucks through the streets of the Sud-Ouest Borough, starting at 11 a.m. and ending in Angrignon park. All the vintage vehicles will be on display there in the afternoon.
Parade route
The parade will start at 11 a.m. from Station 65, at 1300 avenue Dollard in the LaSalle Borough, at the corner of rue Jean Brillon, and will wend its way to Angrignon park, near the Angrignon metro station.
The detailed route will be as follows: along Rancourt, David Boyer, Lefebvre, Serre, Robert, Thierry, Chouinard, Senkus, boulevard Newman, Allard, de Montmagny, Springland, boulevard Monk, Raudot, Mazarin and boulevard Trinitaire, all the way to Angrignon park.
