SIM members were proud to offer a giant box full of sports equipment to the school for which they had held a fundraising drive earlier this year. Here we see them at the La Petite-Patrie elementary school, Notre-Dame-de-la-Défense pavilion.

Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal employees have been working with thousands of youths across greater Montréal in 2014. Now they are harvesting the fruits of their efforts! Thanks to a fundraising drive in the spring as part of the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, students at 43 elementary schools on the Island will be enjoying new sports equipment.

The boxes full of sporting goods were delivered to the schools starting December 3. Every sponsored school received a variety of equipment, ranging from balls to a complete ball hockey set, yoga material, frisbees, identification bibs, a unicycle and lots more! Each box holds $1,500 worth of fun.
